ABOUT Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL)

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is established to enhance the quality of teaching practices of Sampoerna University (SU) faculty members. CETL views excellence in teaching-learning as the most important aspect that promotes student success. Thus, CETL is committed to enhancing faculty members’ capacity through various professional development programs on innovative pedagogical practices, cutting-edge technologies, and building students 21st- century skills. CETL values and recognizes SU faculty members’ excellence in teaching-learning practices and innovation. Thus, through the SU learning festival, CETL facilitates faculty members to share ideas on best practices in utilizing Canvas and other technological tools for innovative teaching, leading to the scholarly discussion of teaching and learning. CETL programs are also designed to facilitate a teaching culture and to emphasize the importance of developing a Learning Community among the faculty members for the ongoing excellency in teaching-learning.
